If you have a little more time or the library is closed, send us an email. You'll get a brief answer by email, usually within 24 hours. If you send your question on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or on a holiday, you'll usually get your answer the next weekday.

You can ask us the same kind of questions you'd ask in the library - such as:
Do you have any books like Harry Potter?
What countries does Canada trade with?

You can ask us to look up dates, names, spellings, addresses, facts, definitions, book titles and URLs.

Sometimes we'll send you a specific answer; sometimes we'll let you know where to look to find the answer. Sometimes we'll suggest that you come in to the library so we can help you better.
