Well the Maple Leafs didn't make the playoffs, again!

I know, I know, try to contain your shock...

But that's all in the past because it's baseball season! YAY!
There is nothing I like more than taking a trip to the Skydome (I know it's actually called the Rogers Centre, but it will always be the Skydome to me!) in my jersey and cap, ordering a hot dog and cheering on the Blue Jays!

Baseball is a sport that is fun to watch on TV, fun to watch in person at the stadium, and more importantly, fun to play! My favourite part is sliding into home base, even if I know I'm going to be called out.

Now it may not be always possible to get enough people to play a good game of baseball, but with all the wonderful parks and parkettes around the city, why not grab your gloves and a ball and play catch with a friend, sibling or parent? Make use of this wonderful weather! Even the birds are happy!
