September 9, 2009 was a special date on the calendar. That morning had 9:09 am on 09/09/09. A time and date like it won't happen again for another hundred years! (September 9, 2109)

A new version of the video game Rockband called Rockband: Beatles was also released on this date. It's extra special to me because this game puts together two things I enjoy: 1) The Beatles and 2) rocking out. So, I spent the day playing the game with my siblings.

Since I've got minimal talent for playing real instruments, Rockband lets me experience the feeling of being able to sing a rock song or play it on guitar, bass or drums.

Maybe you're wondering what's so special about the Beatles. Think of the Jonas Brothers but way, way bigger.

You could also ask your parents but don't be surprised if they just start singing one of their favourite Beatles songs like Hey Jude, Yellow Submarine, Help! and All You Need is Love.
